All marks are rounding marks except those in a box, which are passing marks. Red marks are rounded or passed to port, green to starboard. The number to the right of a course is the length in nautical miles the club prints for it, which allows for beating and for the legs to and from marks the card cannot place — not the sum of the legs below. Select a course to draw it on the chart: its legs are numbered in sailing order, a leg sailed again is drawn beside the first, and a ring shows the side each mark is left on.
